It is actually something that copies the real load which is generated from a real source of power and that is then applied in the real world for that matter as well. The generators are the ones that are known for the power that they can load how much current and how much of it can actually be turned or we can say converted into a useful form of output. Now that tells how efficient the generator is and that is how the testing is done. However, the testing is done using a resistor, that is connected in the reactive load bank. This is being energized by the load and then it leads up to the generator for that matter.

But many people are now arguing that the result of the testing does not account to the whole plant’s emergency preparedness at all. This is because only some part of the plant is only tested on the reactive load bank and that surely does not tell the company if they are doing fine in the whole business as well or not. This is like checking the papers of just two subjects and trying to make up the grade based on that only, no, that does not happen, other subjects are equally important as well over here and for that the testing has to be done on all the generators so as to make sure that there is no access amount of current or low for that matter anywhere in the company then.

The reactive load bank tests the company’s machines to see that if there is a changing load pattern, the machines might not be able to survive and then the company would have to suffer because of that and the company does not want that to happen.
